The episode starts out with Castillo working undercover. He arrives in a nice neighborhood and pulls into a mansion. This was filmed on location with Castillo arriving on Star Island. He pulls into what is now 39 Star Island where he goes inside. This house has since been torn down and replaced as has the entire grounds been redone. At the time Vice filmed there, it appears the house was brand new.

Then we see a deal go wrong in a big way. This was filmed on location at the Orange bowl in Miami.

Then we see the standard season season 4 opening montage.

Act 1 opens inside the OCB. This was filmed on set inside Stage A at Greenwich Studios.

Then we see the raiders arriving ashore in the Glades. Filming location unknown but likely at the Miccosukee Reservation.

Then we return to the police station. Filmed on set at Greenwich Studios.

Then we see Tubbs arrive in the Glades. This was filmed on location in the Everglades, on SW 8th Street/41 approximately 25 miles west of the Florida Turnpike.

Then we see Tubbs on the grounds of the Miccosukee Indian Village. Filmed there, on location where we saw him pull in.

Then we return to 39 Star Island where Castillo continues business.

Then we return to the OCB. Filmed on set at Greenwich Studios.

Then we return to the Miccosukee Indian Village on 41/ SW8th Street.

Then we return to 39 Star Island for a meeting with the Chief.

Next we return to the interior of the OCB. Filmed on set at the studio.

Then we return to the Miccosukee lands in the Everglades. Exact filming locations unknown.

Then we Castillo arrive in a warehouse to do business. Filming location unknown.

Then we see Tubbs’ phone go unanswered as Castillo tries to call him. Both shots were likely filmed on the grounds of Greenwich Studios but I have not confirmed that yet.

Then we see an exterior establishing shot of the OCB. Filmed at Gold Coast Shipping. 615 SW 2nd Avenue. Here we see Crockett bringing Ira Stone into protective custody. At least that is the footage they are using. This is re-used footage from #46, Stone’s War which was also used in #47 Killshot, making this the third time we have seen this same film. Film in which they forgot to cover up the Miami Shipyards Corp. Sign.

Then we go inside, filmed on set at Greenwich Studios. There we see Crockett talking via telephone with Castillo. Castillo is driving but not enough is seen to determine his location.

Then we return to the Miccosukee lands where they are making some gators jumpy. Exact filming location unknown.

Then we cut to Tubbs observing Castillo’s drug deal in the Glades. The deal blows up in his face. Filmed somewhere in the Glades but exact location unknown.

The film cuts and we see the explosion start. At this point it is clear that the boat is no longer moving but stationary and the two people have been replaced  by mannequins.

Then we return to the interior of the OCB, filmed on set.

Then we return to the Micosukee lands. Exact location on the grounds is unknown but was filmed at the complex on 41/ SW 8th Street.

Then we return to 39 Star Island. Filmed there, on location.

Then we see another exterior establishing shot of the OCB/Gold Coast Shipping. This is re-used footage originally seen in Hit List. It has since been used in Evan, Out Where The Buses Don’t Run, Tale of The Goat, Bought and Paid For, Florence Italy, and Theresa.

Then we go inside. Filmed on set.

Then we return to the Miccosukee Indian Village.

Then we cut to the interior of the OCB (set).

Then we cut back to Tubbs who is at the Miccosukee Indian Village.

Then we see Crockett inside the OCB (set) where he calls Castillo. Castillo was filmed at the Miccosukee Indian Village, outside the restrooms.

Then we see Castillo get thru to Tubb’s car phone. Castillo and Becky were both filmed in the same parking lot at different times.

Then we return to 39 Star Island.

Then we go to Boca. Not really. This was filmed on Brickell Key. At 520 Brickell Key.

No fire escape.

The gazebo they stop in to talk and have a look about was at the time the one furthest out into the glades. Now an additional loop has been added onto the walkway and that gazebo is now at the west end of the center walkway.
