The teaser starts out on the set of a t.v. Show. This was filmed on set at Greenwich Studios.

Intercut we see Trudy in a woman’s apartment watching the show. This was filmed on location at 705 NW 14th Street. Since the time of filming the address for this location has changed to 701 NW 14th Street apartment 3.

Then we see the rapist walking down a hallway to a pay phone. This was filmed on location at the Tides Hotel. 1220 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach. Most likely on the second or third floor. We have seen the Tides used in; Nobody Lives Forever as well as in Burn Notice episodes Wanted Man, Bad Blood, and Blind Spot. Also in the movies Bad Boys and Ace Ventura.

Then we see the standard season 4 opening montage.

Act 1 opens with an exterior establishing shot of Gold Coast Shipping/OCB. This is re-used footage originally seen in The Good Collar where it was the 25th version (different footage) of the OCB exterior that we saw in the series. It was also re-used in Cuba Libre.

Then we go inside. Filmed on set in Greenwich Studios.

Then we go to the school where Ellen is teaching. This location was a mystery for a very long time. Thanks to Tom at miamiviceonline.com and his diligent work it is no longer a mystery. This was filmed on location at the Alexander Montessori School, Old Cutler Road Campus. 14400 Old Cutler Road, Miami.

Then we see Ellen walking home. We first see her walking northbound on Collins Ave. in the 1100 block with the Kent hotel seen in the background. The Kent Hotel is located at 1131 Collins Ave. The camera was located at 1228 Collins Avenue filming south.

The circular railing belongs to the Webster Hotel. Both the hotel and railing are still there today.

It cuts and we see her arrive at 14th Street on Euclid Ave. Here she rushes past the crowd and into her apartment at 705 14th Street.

Then we see Tubbs and Crockett at a cafe. This was filmed on location at 1200 Ocean Drive. This is now a restaurant with much less charm. I will return there soon to get re-creation pictures.

Then we see an ice cream truck northbound on Euclid Avenue to 14th Street passing the Lawn Court Apartment Hotel on the way to the carnival at Ellen’s. The Lawn Court Building is now well hidden by vegetation.

Intercut we see the interior of the OCB. Filmed on set inside Stage A at Greenwich Studios.

Then the filming returns to 1200 Ocean Drive where we just saw C+T at the cafe, only now the same location, (right next door to Beak’s apartment building, The Tides) is the Miami Parole and Rehabilitation Center.

Then we return to Ellen’s. The location of the filming of interior scenes is unknown.

Then we see an exterior establishing shot of Gold Coast Shipping/OCB. This is re-used footage originally seen in Stone’s War. Also previously re-used in Killshot and Indian Wars.

Then we go inside, filmed on studio set.

Then we return to Ellen’s, filming location unknown.

Then we see Ellen picking up a magazine to put her plan into action. They made maximum use of each filming location, as this is the Tides Hotel Lobby. Beak’s apartment building.
