The teaser starts us out on the street with the Vice crew working a sting. This was
filmed on North Miami Avenue at 14th Street. We have since seen this location star
in the movie-
As seen in 2 Fast, 2 Furious.
Then we see C+T inside. This window looks fake to me as though C+T were filmed on set but I have not confirmed the exact location yet. Location unknown.
Then Crockett runs out into a hallway. The hopper windows make this appear to have been filmed in a basement though it is suppose to have been filmed on at least the second floor. Filming location unknown.
Then we see the standard season 4 opening montage.
Act 1 opens inside the police station. Filmed on set at Greenwich Studios.
Then C+T go to the hospital. Filming location unknown.
Then we see Crockett aboard the St. Vitus Dance. Docked at Watson Island with downtown Miami in the background.
Then we go back to the OCB, filmed on studio set.
Next we see Crockett and Tubbs watch a couple thugs break into a vehicle, vandalize it, and steal the radio. They allow the thugs to walk off with the loot for some unexplained reason. This was filmed outside 1050 North Miami Avenue.
Then they go inside (1050). At the time it was a bar but now it is a restaurant supply company.
Then we go to the skid row apartment. Location unknown.
Next we see Crockett pull up to the Ace theater and do a quick turn, taking off back to the west. This was filmed on location at the Ace theater located at 3664 Grand Avenue in Coconut Grove.
Then we see Crockett arrive at Caroline’s new place. Location unknown.
Then we cut to a meeting between the police and community bad guys. This appears to have been filmed in a small church. Location unknown.
Then we cut back to Caroline’s, location unknown.
Which leads to Billy and Sonny in the Testarossa. This was filmed on location at the F.I.U. Campus. NE 151th Street at FIU Bay Vista Stadium Ave.
Then we see Tubbs has teamed up with Stan to work a deal. Location unknown.
Next we see Crockett speeding along in the Testarossa. This was filmed on location, on Arthur Lamb Jr. Road, Virginia Key. We have seen this location before in the episodes Viking Bikers From Hell and Cuba Libre as well as several recent episodes of Burn Notice.
Intercut we see flashbacks to Caroline’s as Crockett thinks about his situation.
We then see Crockett at the boy’s bedside. Filming location unknown.
Then we see Crockett pay a very brief visit to the doc. Location unknown.
Then Crockett returns to work inside the OCB where he officially reports being okay. Filmed on set at the studio.
Then Crockett returns to the boy’s bedside. Location unknown.
Then it’s back to the OCB (set).
Set.
Then we see Crockett and Tubbs go to the church of bad guys. Filming location unknown.
Then it’s back to the OCB (set).
Then we see Tubbs and Crockett on the road. We first see them southbound on NW 1st Avenue away from the “59th Street underpass”. They pass 1201 NW 1st Avenue which was seen in the near background of the scene in the Pilot where Corky and Eddie are blown up. This block, happily is unchanged in appearance to this day.
Continuing south past NW Miami Ct.
Then passing NW 10th Street still southbound on NW 1st Ave.
Then we see them turn from southbound on NW 1st Avenue onto NW 8th Street headed west. The Miami Arena is seen under construction in the background. The warehouses we saw in episode 11, Little Prince were torn down for the arena’s construction. It has since been torn down to make room for a vacant lot.
Then we see them continue west on NW 8th Street and pass under the metro rail.
Past NW 1st Ct.
Then they turn from NW 8th Street onto NW 2nd Avenue headed north.
Then we go inside the apartment where they are fighting again. Filming location unknown.
Then we see C+T at the Hospital. Filming location unknown.
Then we see the Vice Squad raid the gun runners. This was reportedly filmed on location in North Miami Beach. NE 159th Street at NE 21st Avenue. As the stunt person climbs atop the tank we get our best view of the area. It appears the camera is shooting east toward the intersection of NE 159th Street and West Dixie Highway but this site was demolished shortly after filming and I have not been able to line up the tanks on satellite pictures exactly as they appear on screen but it generally appears correct.
Then we see Crockett pay another visit to the kid in the hospital. Location unknown.
Then we see Crockett driving with his son. I believe this was filmed next to the earlier driving scene at the North Miami Athletic Stadium, southbound on FIU Bay Vista Stadium Street. Not enough is seen to confirm this 100% but it is very likely the location.
